I damn sure was getting to the Christmas Showhouse [sponsored by Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles] this year....cause I missed it in 2011 and everyone was talking about it.
I hate when people are discussing a cool event and I am clueless....
Sunday morning I wanted to be there at noon sharp when it opened.
If you live in Atlanta you must go. This is the last week and every room was jaw dropping.
I might have dropped a hint that I was a blogger...and they might have said I could take a few pictures....I did.
Hopefully this will inspire you to get yo self there!
The living room was designed by: Beth Webb. It was incredible but I only managed to snag this picture. Not sure why?
The Gentleman's Study by: Tammy Connor
So rich and warm.
All I had was my iPhone....the walls in the DR.
Designed by: James Howard
Tried to get a good picture of the chandelier....it was to die.
I'll take these chairs.
The Breakfast room by: Gretchen Edwards
Gorgeous plates.
How pretty!
This was the best picture I could get of the kitchen.....without anyone around. It was gorgeous.
Designed by: Lyndsy Woods.
Beautiful place setting.
And the stockings were hung.....
Love the colors of the family room.
Designed by: Liz Williams.
Oh....and that KW fabric on the chairs.....yes.
Love the settee against the window.
The mud room by: James Farmer with Maggie Griffin.
This was the downstairs powder room....navy grasscloth....
Upstairs hallway
Loving the nursery by: Michel Boyd
Believe it or not there was a crib......
Don't know why I did not get a shot of it?
The Young Boy's Bedroom by: Barbara Heath
The upstairs study by: Chris Holt.
The master bedroom by: Amy D. Morris
This color was gorgeous....BM Hidden Fall 714
This was the corridor leading to the master.....
This room was a small library but there were so many people I could not get a good shot.
It was designed by: Laura Walker.
One last shot of the DR as I was leaving. My pictures do not do this home justice.....

The builder was Dovetail Homes.
Seriously gorgeous.....all of it. If you can't make it, then you will be able to see it in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles soon.
But go......really.
Don't forget about the giveaway.....
I will pick a winner later this week.
I know everyone has a lot to do these days! I have my last install before Christmas next week.....and will spend this week making sure I am organized.
Will I get any decorating done to my house?
That is a big question.....I am sweating just thinking about it.
Shazam....

Sherry - Thanks for sharing the pictures! I moved from ATL to NYC this year and won't be home in time to see it.
Funny, I just posted on the house too - was invited on the press tour, so got to take pictures!
I can't find my color chart. Do you know what color the gentleman's study was?
Love seeing the showhouse through your eyes! I agree, the house is hard to capture in pictures as there is so much detail, so much natural light. I noticed that the One King's Lane pictures are all taken at night.
Great post!

Sherry....one of my favorite things to do is going to design homes. Looks like it was worth seeing.
I want the wall of cow paintings!
You are killing me with all the eye candy!

Wishing I was in Atlanta b/c that house is incredible - would love to see it in person! I especially love the dining room chairs and the wood ceiling beams - nice to see how they did the beams in a house that doesn't have tremendously high ceilings!
I wish I could fly down to Atlanta just to go to this showhouse! I am crushing on those teal blue walls in one of the bedrooms…..so moody and gorgeous. Such a pretty house! Thanks for sharing, Sherry!
I love that chandelier and the kitchen does look amazing. Whatever I see of the nursery is very inspiring. Great pics, Sherry!
Oh my...thank you for talking your way into some photos for us! Great new inspiration!
It was interesting to note that most of the rooms had oriental rugs including the bathroom, halls, etc. Seems seagrass and naturals are out and oriental carpets are back in again.
Sherry, Love it!! Some beautiful color combinations and fabrics in this home. Trust me you WILL get your decorating done. Once you have time to start you will plow through and it will be spectacular!! Keeping the faith....
