Yep...way.
AND..... the winner of the giveaway is Michelle from My Notting Hill! I love Michelle's blog....she actually featured me as a designer when I first started blogging. I did not even know enough to mention it on my blog. I was pretty green back then! The good thing is she often comes to Atlanta [she lives in DC] on business and we have gotten to meet and have dinner. Hopefully she forgave me for my bad blogging manners.
Went to Scott's on Thursday...boy it was a slow day there. I know it is the holiday season and not too many people are buying things for their home. What....I don't get that???? Pictures soon.
I am working on a whole house renovation so I thought I would show you my plan for the kitchen and family room.
Here is a picture of what the kitchen looked like about 2 weeks ago.
The cabinets and trim are painted Creamy by Sherwin Williams. The walls are Ben Moore OC 8 Elephant Tusk. The island is painted Ben Moore HC 142 Stratton Blue.
Here are the fabrics we are using.
How come I always manage to try for the blue first. I am sneaky like that :)
This is the same house that this runner is going in.
The bannister is going to be painted SW Iron Ore. It is a wonderful dark dark gray. Hopefully the inside front door will be painted also. Here was my convincing photo to that effect...
Makes SUCH a difference!
Thank you all for the great response to my benches! I keep going in the bedroom to take a peek at them....someone asked the name of the fabric and it's Riad by Windsor Smith for Kravet. I totally cheated and had them recovered.
Last thing...I asked a friend of mine what she was up to this weekend and she said she had Cavalia. I looked at her and cocked my head...."what is that? A religious celebration or something". She about fell out. No it is a production like a circus but with horses. Whatever....how am I supposed to know that.
Anybody else heard of it?
Anyway, like the rest of you, I have laundry, bed making, and grocery shopping to get done today. Need to wrap this up.

Sherry - I am SO HAPPY!! Thank you, thank you. When my daughter moves into her new room, hers will become my office. I've planned a green and white scheme so this giveaway is perfect. An early Christmas for me!
Also, the kitchen looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see it with the finishes and fabrics.
The progress you've made in the kitchen is beautiful. Love the shade of blue on the island. I have yet to venture to Scott's- maybe one weekend! I've seen the big huge tent set up on Spring St, but I haven't been to see Cavalia! We're looking forward to seeing the Nutcracker at the Fox!
Oh man! I love these swatches and colors! So lovely!! You HAVE to come by and see my blue opalescent chandy I just hung...if you love blue!
Oh my... what a gorgeous kitchen! And, I love the fabrics you've chosen. Can't wait to see the finished room :)

Like I cannot believe its 15 days away....SCARY!!!!!
Good luck getting it all done..looking smashingly good!
The kitchen looks beautiful even at this stage. I loved seeing the basket of fabrics and finishes...gorgeous selection. Can't wait to see it completed!
That house renovation is going to look great. I like the fabrics you picked out. I agree that her front door would be pretty painted in black especially since she doesn't have any special ornamentation to the door already. It will really dress it up.
Love the island colour - looks similar to the pretty aqua ours was in our Muskoka place. :)
That Island...LOVE! Janell
Sherry, love what your doing. I can visualize exactly what the fabrics will look like. I love how you are adding the runner with a little black in it. Looks like fun.....
Oh my gosh, that kitchen is gorgeous and the island color could not be any prettier. As for the black door, that will always get two thumbs up from me.
Have a great weekend, Sherry!

Congratulations to Michele! Love your color combination for the owners house and can't wait to see it completed.
That island is gorgeous! Love the runner you decided on too. They are lucky to have you!
The kitchen is gorgeous...can't wait to see the beautiful palette finished. The black door is a must...I'm convinced to change mine!
The kitchen is going to be gorgeous. I'm in love with the paint colors and all the fabrics...the sisal. You've really knocked this one out of the park. Hope they paint the door. The crowning touch. XO, Mona
oh my, the kitchen colors are stunning..and love the black painted door as that is one of my all time favorites!!
best,
maureen
What a beautiful blog! My first visit and I'll be back. I love the reno you're doing. What a gorgeous color scheme. The fabrics are fabulous. Can't wait to see the end result!
That kitchen is beautiful Sherry as are the fabrics you've pulled together. Is there a breakfast nook area of some sort? I keep seeing Betwixt and I think it's a sign that I need some Betwixt in my life. But we might be moving next year so I don't know...decorate with what I have now and splurge when we move. Have a great rest of the weekend!
OH, the fabrics and that kitchen are both gorgeous and so my style. Those are the same colors I have in our home.
I had to click over to see who commented on my blog, and I'm glad I did. Oh how I love your style! I think I'll follow along!

Love that interior door painted Iron Ore. It got me thinking about my door... what paint finish is that?
Hi Sherry - thank you for following my blog! I thought I'd drop by and see your style and am blown away by this beautiful kitchen. The fabric choices and perfect and that runner will be a great touch. I'm sure I will be dropping by much more regularly now :)
Dying over here... totally dying!!! I am in LOVE with that kitchen and your entire design plan. You knocked it out of the park Sha Fab! xo
This is beautiful. Love all of the finishes you have chose. Would you mind sharing your source for the sisal rug? Thanks :)
LOVE this too! Dying to see where you incorporate all that fabric (assuming there's a family room nearby). I think it is challenging to make a kitchen feel warm since there just aren't tons of places for fabric, so can't wait to see the finished product!! M.
The runner is my favorite - a little black and white can do wonders in a room.
It is looking so amazing. You are extremely talented!
I'm in love with this kitchen and it's not even done yet! The color on the island - LOVE! Can't wait to see it all done- smart people for hiring you!
That kitchen is absolutely amazing, Sherry! Love the colors and those fabrics-you really killed it on this one! Can't wait to see how it turns out :)
how settle and so attractive.. it makes me want to levitate! Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Ooooooh. YUM on the kitchen. Can't wait to see the whole casa!
And Cavalio...ya know what...because of you I am getting tickets for a certain horse lover for Christmas! It's coming to Miami.
Yes!
Love the fabrics you are using - the creamy-beige houndstooth looks great with the softer blue fabrics. Lovely blog, I'm following you, too, now.
Stunning!!!!! Will end up in many magazines my friend!
And I always, ALWAYS love your fabric choices.

P.S I have not forgotten you - just finally coming up for air...
Hi Sherry, the kitchen looks gorgeous! What a fun project. Love the fabrics and of course the stair runner. I was wondering which one you ended up going with. Take care!
I love those fabrics and that kitchen!!! Love, love, love! And I always go for the blue first, too ...
I found a wool jacket with that same herringbone print (made in Italy!) at the thrift store last week... the largest trench coat I've ever seen... so we're talking six feet of wool for $15. I'll be making a large pouffe, or a pillow or something in the near future. ;)
I love the fabrics you selected...so fresh and classic.
Okay, that kitchen is to die for!! TOTALLY my taste! I am actually in pain I love it so much! CANNOT wait to see the fabrics and finishes in there....LOVE IT!
Lou Cinda :)
Wow--that kitchen is lookin' incredible. Just became your latest follower so I can see the progress. Beautiful work, Sherry!
Please message me the carpet source!!! I need it for my house asap!!
Gorgeous!
