Crap.
OK...on to the reason of this post. Who knows what this flower/weed is???
It is growing all over the back yard.
It is purdy.....and last a long time in a vase.
See...
A week old.....
One more thing....
Here is a dining room I am working on. Betwixt on seats. 2 orange host and hostess chairs. Walls are already a pale yellow with yellow silk curtains. Seagrass.
I ordered those blue pots from Wisteria. One came broken. No worries, they are shipping another.
I LOVE THEM.
Can I keep?????
Happy Wednesday.
Remember my lately obsession about green?
Stay tuned for a green giveaway on Friday.

So glad I'm not the only person who ALWAYS forgets to cover soup before I stick it in the microwave! I'll be blabbing away about something while the soup is cooking, then we'll hear an explosion from the microwave and I'll open the door to find the whole inside dripping. my husband is always like "Seriously?!" Don't know why I never learn.
I don't know what your weed is, but it's really pretty! So is the room you're planning!
not a clue about the flowers but I love those pots and that chunky seagrass rug. have a good source for seagrass? want on for my bedroom...donna
I have the same problem with the microwave...ugh! No idea what the flowers are but they sure are pretty. Looking forward to your green giveaway!
I think it's an ageratum, maybe Blue Horizon, but I'm not sure. Do I win a prize if I'm right?
Love dining room board. I think orange looks so great with blue. I am obsessed with rusty orange the way you are green.
Am also obsessed with green in a big big way right now.
Hey, you know why it doesn't bother me that I always forget to cover my soup with a paper towel in the microwave? Because I couldn't care less if my microwave is covered in 10 flavors of soup grime. Yay Type Z personality!
Spaghetti sauce explodes too and is disgusting to clean up. Good times. No idea what the flower/weed is, but wish it grew in my yard. Love your design scheme as always!
Love green also.....don't have a clue about what flower this might be, but you sure made it look beautiful!
Love the mood board, gorgeous!
Beautiful Flowers!
That's some good lookin weed! :)
I think it's called Blue Mist. It is pretty!
Im a watchin for the green give away-the flowers are pretty cool!
That sure is a pretty weed/flower. Let's just call it a wild flower. Ha! Isn't it strange that a weed has no trouble growing when it's completely neglected and yet anything you plant and TRY to grow, doesn't always thrive?
I love that rug -- is it seagrass -- looks different? Is it available locally??

Thank you for the laugh about the soup I did the same thing last night. I have no idea what your flower is but it's really pretty. I caan't wait to see the room youre designing...without green. Who thee heck hates green?
Nothing like free, long-lasting flowers. Love those orange chairs with the blue!

You don't see yellow used in designs much anymore. I can't wait to how this turns out. I bet it's going to pretty.
Ageratum. Lucky you to have something still blooming.
Woops. I almost missed that gorgeous dining room. Going to be good....I can just feel it.
Ageratum is the name of the flower. If it's the old fashioned tall variety that blooms only in the fall, it's a perennial and will return each year; if it's the shorter variety that has bloomed all summer, it's an annual and the frost will kill it and you must replant in the spring.
Hardy ageratum. Should come back every year with little care. Lucky you! Love the design plan for the dining room, Shayray!
Betwixt is really one of my favorites - I love that it's so versatile. And I love your giveaways - can't wait to see what you got! And you've made perfect use of that ageratum in your home.
You are so right! And trying to melt butter is even worse...greasy mess. I mention your blog in my post tomorrow....thank you thank you for my jack pot.
i don't know the name of that weed but i got tons of the beauties at the edge of my backyard. i love em!
re: microwave
rest easy knowing your micro will never be as disgusting as ours. a house always full of teen boys with pizza rolls (they explode).

I wish that grew in my backyard ... and I love the dining room design!!
definitely ageratum... great color, i need to plant some...
and i'm OCD about the microwave being dirty... because i'm pretty much insane right now, because of my kids...

I don't know the name of the flower/weed, but I sure do love it!
Wow, that's a weed? So pretty! And yes, I've made that mistake with the microwave a time or too ;) I HATE cleaning out the micrwave!!
