I love...Thank you for posting this collection . . . I love this room! It is essentially timeless, but has gently ebbed and flowed over the years. It's now 2021. I first came across one of your posts on this room a year ago when I started itching to make changes to my sunroom. It has always been one of my favorite spaces in our home but it hasn't ebbed and flowed as well as your keeping area.

It started as a bedroom for my husband after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle crash 27 and a half years ago. That was not my original intention for the room, but stairs were out of the question at the time. My husband eventually recovered and the sunroom was better utilized as I had originally envisioned as a combination one chair sitting room and computer room. Then we added the workout equipment for lack of having any another place to workout. However, actually working out ebbed and flowed too. About 6 years ago my husband retired and started his own PI business and the room has been his dedicated office. Business had slowed enough that he took a part time job but still worked from home, however he relocated from his office and began working at the kitchen table. Then Covid invaded all of our lives. He closed his business and my little diamond in the rough, sunroom evolved into a catch all space . . . ugh!

Recently the stars shifted and became aligned. A couple of months ago we officially became empty nesters when our son got his own place. With this milestone a door opened and it was the door to my son's bedroom. I am now reclaiming and repurposing both rooms. My son's room was all NY Yankees so it already had an athletic vibe that easily lent itself to being turned into our workout room. As for my sunroom, I've been combing through Pinterest and saving ideas to transform it into the cozy, sunny little sitting room I always dreamed it could be. Despite all the images and ideas I've collected, I continuously find myself returning to your keeping area. Seeing how it has evolved and changed has helped me to envision and solidify my options and the direction I want to go. Planning for this room has become a bit of a distraction, but I'm so excited to pull it all together. So again, thank you so much for this post.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12737015082240011703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8326200997366031462.post-78215986102191543052017-10-12T22:18:58.755-04:002017-10-12T22:18:58.755-04:00That was fun! I guess a designers work is never done and when we're bombarded with all the latest and greatest it's easy to get tired of things quickly...at least that's my problem. And I'm facing that with my guest room which, by the way, is being redone again! Have fun at HP. Looking forward to seeing what's new there. The new curtains are very nice too.
Lisa in Floridahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11975374383006565226noreply@blogger.com
