I was at West Elm the other day and I had 50.00 worth of certificates that were going to expire in a few days. Seriously I looked for something to buy but everything I wanted cost 800.00 [rug] 250.00 [light fixture]. So I decided to spend it on you :)

The Olympic party.....you guys had some great ideas.......but in the end I went as a fan. I started thinking about being stuck in an uncomfortable costume the whole time and I caved.
I must have been in party mode [it is hard to hold a drink and stuff food in your mouth with a camera in your hand] cause I did not take very many pictures.
She had the volleyball/badminton net set up!

Y'all I made these pathetic cupcakes. I am here to tell you that baking is not easy. I have been on this earth half a century [well more than a half but lets not get technical] and clearly I have not yet mastered the art of making a simple cupcake. Which we all know a 6 year old can do in their sleep.

No this is NOT my backyard.....mine looks like the ghetto [except minus a car jacked up on cinder blocks] compared to this.....
