NEW FABRICS

July 4th is officially over.....and I'm sad.  When we were young we always went to the beach [Pawleys Island and then when we were older Daufuskie Island]  for a week over the 4th and I remember that when we came home I felt such a let down....and it just became a lazy summer!

Of course things are a little different now that I'm an adult.....I have plenty to do this summer with 2 showhouses and clients.  In fact I keep thinking that in November I will breath a sigh of relief when everything is over and life is back to normal!

So what do I have for you today?  Well more fabrics from companies that you might not be familiar with. 

I'm always here to feed that insatiable quest for the perfect fabric:)

We were up near the Cape with my husbands family....and I was missing Cami....

I'm pretty sure she was missing me too:)

And of course you can't go to Mass and not have "lobstah".....but I'm here to confess it's not as good without "buttah"......damn.

No butter.....my new "normal".  

Not gonna say I don't yearn for it.

A FABRIC DISCOVERY

OK.....I have The Furniture Bank getting me the specs on donations so I should have that by this weekend to pick a winner and announce on Tuesday.

The other day I was at ADAC looking for fabrics.  

Not a bad gig.

I walked by a wallpaper and thought "Hmmmm....I love that...wonder if there is a fabric"

Oh yes.

It was a delicious  paisley.

I don't know about you but a good paisley will give me goose bumps.

Kind of soft....country English/Frenchish.

Yeah....he had me at pretty.

And simple.....

I grabbed a sample so I could place it in rotation to sleep with.

And put it together with some fabrics like I was gonna makeover my den.....

JK....not gonna happen right now.  But in my pretend world.  Yes.

I am all anxious about leaving town and going to NYC to see my niece.  Don't get me wrong cause I know I will have fun but the whole process of traveling sends me into a panic.

Ridiculous right?  I hate leaving my dog.

And flying.

And just leaving my routine.

Sucks.

I'm gonna do it though so see ya Tuesday people:)
