A COLORFUL HOME TOUR

It's spider season.  Just thought I would throw that out there:)  They seem to be everywhere.  Real and fake.  I'm not a fan......

Y'all I'm coming down from my "magazine cover high".  Back to regular life and work.  My brain is not quite working at 100% though.

The other day I was happily enjoying my morning when I got a text from my curtain installer...."Are we still on for 10 am".  Huh?  Well....yeah sure but thinking I had to be 45 minutes away by 11:00 it was going to be tight.

No worries I got myself together....got to the install [3 roman shades] and then headed to the luncheon up in Milton, Georgia.  All good...thinking I might be 10 minutes late which I texted to advise.

OK....here is where it get's a little "old lady crazytown".  First of all it's a luncheon....a drop by sort of thing.  Why am I texting to say I'll be late?  Second....I pull into the driveway at 11:10 and see NO cars.  Hmmmmmm.

I call my friend to make sure I am at the right place and then I casually throw in "what time does it start again?"  12:30.  Good Lord.  I am not just a little early....I am an hour and 20 min early.

They let me in anyway.  And I am sure they got a good laugh that afternoon when it was over.  My reputation may be tarnished.

But....there is always a silver lining and this one was good as I got to take some pictures of this incredible house!

Let's start with the foyer....

Of course she had me right from the get go.  A little black and white perfection!

And now that I am a color girl....this Cole and Son wallpaper is crazy good!

The ceiling!

Welcome to the butlers pantry....it's the size of my kitchen!

Lindsay [her house] and Jennifer [she let me in early].....They are cute and Talented!

Below is the kitchen.....

Small details as it was just photographed!

Here is where you might get just a tiny bit envious....the outdoor area....

But wait.....

Kapow.....

This part got me tingly....I'm not gonna lie.

The family room....

Good Lord....it was all just incredible....

Perfect little chair....

We are talking "house Beautiful" color!

Powder room.

And this bedroom was so dreamy!

These vintage doors leading into the bedroom....

The master bath.....

Ceiling in the closet!
Are you in love....I mean the details were everywhere!

There is a lot of good ideas here.....like don't forget the ceilings:)  A lot of white walls....with color added.

I'm kind of glad I barged in early:)

Happy Halloween!

Holy guacamole! Talk about your stunning abode, this place is phenomenal! It had me from the first photo to the last and is the definition of impeccable decore and design. It would be a dream to see it in person, let alone live there. Thank you for sharing, so glad you arrived early!

Such a beautifully decorated house! I spy both Tumbling Blocks and Deconstructed Stripe, by Miles Redd for Schumacher. Those are two of my personal favorites, and I use both in my own home.

Gahh!! I would pay to tour that house. I've gone back and studied every photo several times, zooming in so I don't miss a single detail. Thank you so much for sharing, I wish you were doing a part 2 (and 3, 4...)! That master suite though.

Thank you so much for the gorgeous photos (I'm so glad you were early ;^)
It is so delightfully refreshing to see real color and beautiful furnishings that aren't all beat up and fake "distressed".
I really appreciate your sharing homes/photos/boards that are well and thoughtfully
put together. It is very uplifting to know that I am not the only person who enjoys a rich(color/lighting, etc.) and beautiful home!!
Blessings,
J
