ASO DECORATORS SHOW HOUSE 2015

I am happy to report that my soiree went off without a hitch.

Even the weather held out which made me  pretty darn happy  because I spent all of Friday power washing every stinking piece of furniture.

My arms were so tired.

Since all I had to do was provide the venue I was not in charge of anything else.  But.....my sister ordered these little bundt cakes.  OMG.....

Little single servings of crack.  Crikey I ate one rite out of the box not even worried about whether we had enough:)

Today I have more pictures of the ASO Decorator Show House.  If you have not been there is still time!  It is open until May 10th.

Starting with one of my favorite designers Bob Brown....
I was all over this neutral room....right!

Um....this bed.

Right off the MBR was Danielle Rollins and Bill Ingram who designed the bath.

Cutest business cards ever....

It was a gorgeous room full of toile against some great wallpaper.

Living room designed by Michael Boyd.

It was so good but I had a hard time getting some decent photographs.

The dining room which was done by Randy and Dan of Boxwoods.

My good friend Vern Yip [ha ha] designed the family room and dining area.

Right off this area was the kitchen by Robin LaMonte.  I think it is important to say that she could only upgrade with paint.  I love the taupe color she picked out....it works well with the existing granite countertops.

Upstairs Patricia McLean gave us a beautiful traditional southern room.
Love this Thibaut wallpaper on the ceiling...

Then we come to Melanie Turners room....which I loved.  She kept the toile paper that was on the walls....

The green velvet window treatments were slap gorgeous!

Say hello to this fabulous room by Parker Kennedy.

The Fromental wall covering was spectacular!

I left out many rooms that I just could not get good shots of....so you will just have to go.

Alrighty....girl has stuff to do.  I'm down in Florida trying to whip this place in shape before the rental season.

BEFORE AND AFTER

It's only Wednesday but things are getting done at mi casa.  In preparation for my party I had my house power washed and cowabunga it went from yellow [the pollen]  to white!

I got almost all of my spring planting done and had my yard guy put down the pine straw and bark.

Let the celebration begin!

On top of all that I knocked out a few accessory installs....

This is project I have been working on for quite a while...

I have tried to take after shots of this space but I don't have the skills.....so here are a few small shots.

Here was the plan....
New Lee Industries sectional.
Paint walls a light gray.  Add pillows.....duh right?

Some Worlds Away, Currey & Co and West Elm goodness.

Install a great Raffia wallpaper in the foyer.

Dining room before....

After....No furniture yet because we are still renovating the front porch of the DR into an office.  Thibaut wallpaper.

Before

Added some height with this West Elm piece.

Shopped for some vintage pieces...

Mixed in with some HomeGoods loot.

You remember this little makeover with the bench from HG's.  The kitty's daytime hangout.

Replaced the smaller table with this chest.

Painted the mantel and wallpapered behind the bookcase.

Did a little accessorizing....

As you can see we have made good progress and hopefully when it's finished I can hire a professional for some good images!

OK.....later tater tots.

2015 ASO DECORATOR SHOW HOUSE

Alrighty then.....we are coming off a wet weekend here in Hot 'lanta.  I had big plans for gardening and power washing.....so now I will be scurrying this week to get everything done for my little soiree.

As promised I have more pictures of the show house Chateau Soleil.  Be sure to get there and see for yourself!

April 18-May 10

Let's start with the foyer by Loren Tayler.  Hot damn it was purdy.

Of course she had me at black and white....

Her vignettes were layered just right.

yum yum.

Kapow right?

Let's move to the bathroom designed by Beth Kooby.

Oh Beth.....you nailed it.

Adorb right?  The Hygge + West wallpaper looks so good in this space.

I don't hate this vanity.  Nope.  Not at all.

Blue ceiling....of course I'm digging that.

I got to meet Beth [bath] and Jennifer Bradley who did the Laundry Room and Office.

I was feeling this space with the gorgeous grasscloth wallpaper by Schumacher.

I love this little area for a puppy :)  By the way I am working on getting another rescue sheepdog.....more on that later!

This room was so good but I was chatting away and neglected to do the best job of taking pictures.

Is this enough to whet your appetite?

I feel like Atlanta is known for having one of the best Show House's in the country.  Of course I'm no expert but I sure do gush every year over all of the talent.

So back to the rescue.  I got in touch with the OES rescue and they have a girl in south Florida that needs a home.  She is 17 months old and her name is Camelot.  I can be her foster and if it works out then she is all mine!

So excited cause I sure do miss the love of a smooch muffin.

Have a great week.....get it done!
